Problems With Exterior Flagstone
This flagstone in a Tempe, Arizona home had heavy hard water deposits and failing topical seal. The flaking, peeling sealer gave the flagstone a dull, dirty, chalky appearance.

Our Flagstone Restoration Process
First, we used masking tape and plastic to protect the surfaces surrounding our work area. To strip the topical sealer and prepare the flagstone for a new application of sealer, we used a process called media blasting, that is, a forcible propulsion of different media types specific to the job. Our final step was to seal and color enhance the flagstone with a highly recommended sealer called Dry Treat Intensifia to dramatically improve the appearance of the stone and inhibit staining.
The homeowners were thrilled with the results we were able to achieve.

About Dry Treat
Most sealers and enhancers used on exterior surfaces in Arizona will break down and fade within a couple of years. The reason we prefer using Dry Treat sealers on exterior surfaces is that it can be expected to last much longer before another application is needed (although it is still recommended to be professionally deep cleaned every one to two years). Dry Treat warranties are only valid if the sealer is applied by a Dry Treat accredited applicator and a regular cleaning schedule is maintained.
