Missing, Damaged, Weathered Flagstone
After homeowners in Scottsdale had a hot tub removed, their flagstone patio had a giant empty space where the hot tub used to be. Due to a combination of the harsh Arizona elements, an extended period of time without professional attention, and the hot tub removal process, the patio was in poor condition. The flagstone was faded, dull, and cracked, and the grout was loose, and in some places, missing.
Missing and Damaged Flagstone Replaced
We installed flagstone where the hot tub had been and replaced any damaged stone. Fortunately, we were able to find stone that closely matched the existing stone, giving the patio a uniform appearance despite the significant repairs.
Flagstone Cleaning and Sealing
To remove dirt, contaminants, and residues on the flagstone, we used professional cleaning solutions and scrub brushes designed for natural stone deep cleaning. Then, we applied a stain inhibiting sealer called Dry Treat Intensifia, which restored the rich earth tones. The homeowners were very happy to see the dramatic difference our services made.

About Dry Treat
Most sealers and enhancers used on exterior surfaces in Arizona will break down and fade within a couple of years. The reason we prefer using Dry Treat sealers on exterior surfaces is that it can be expected to last much longer before another application is needed (although it is still recommended to be professionally deep cleaned every one to two years). Dry Treat warranties are only valid if the sealer is applied by a Dry Treat accredited applicator and a regular cleaning schedule is maintained. Beyond Stone Solutions is a Dry Treat accredited applicator, and we will be happy to provide proof of treatment for your records, as well as answer any questions you may have about Dry Treat sealers and products.
