Improper Topical Sealer on Flagstone
When another contractor applied the wrong kind of sealer to flagstone at a home in Litchfield Park, Arizona, it soon became unsightly. The flagstone looked colorless, chalky, and uninviting. Flagstone Media Blasting
First, we prepared the work area by masking and protecting the adjacent walls and other surfaces. Then, our skilled technicians used a carefully controlled process called media blasting to remove the improper topical sealer. This steady stream of very fine grit abrasives never causes damage to stone surfaces. Our final step was to clean the stone to remove any residue from the media blasting and apply a few coats of Intensifia sealer, a Dry Treat professional sealing product. This sealer is appropriate for an exterior environment and will provide superior protection in the harsh Arizona sun for many years.

About Dry Treat
Most sealers and enhancers used on exterior surfaces in Arizona will break down and fade within a couple of years. The reason we prefer using Dry Treat sealers on exterior surfaces is that it can be expected to last much longer before another application is needed (although it is still recommended to be professionally deep cleaned every one to two years). There are some Dry Treat sealers that come with five, fifteen, or twenty-five year written warranties against the absorption of water and oil, but only if the sealer is applied by a Dry Treat accredited applicator and a regular cleaning schedule is maintained.
